Jason Rae is an investigator at an anti-biological warfare agency.
When high-level members of the U.S. Administration start to die in mysterious circumstances, it is up to Jason to find out what is happening and to pursue those responsible both in the U.S. and across the ocean – which is easier said than done.
At the same time, he uncovers a sinister hidden plot and must battle powerful forces in his home country that have the resources and the determination to bring him down… at any cost.
As Jason is increasingly marginalised in the U.S. and the dark clouds gather, he is in a race against time to save the World from a major catastrophe. Will he succeed - or will this be his final mission?
“Search & Destroy” is a gripping adventure thriller book that will keep you up all night, eager to flip the pages to find out what happens next, until the very end when the final shocking twist is revealed.
Will Jason have the skills to save himself and the world from total demise or are we all doomed?

Review

Jason Rae is a government agent tasked with protecting his country from biological warfare. When there is a departmental reshuffle he needs to speak face-to-face with his confidential informant who is a resident of Riyadh in the heart of Saudi Arabia.

When he returns to the United States he has to deal with bad news within his family and also the news that a high ranking government official has died in mysterious circumstances. The evidence points back to Riyadh and a new secret laboratory complex. Jason is tasked with using his contacts to investigate the lab and report back to his superiors on exactly what is going on.

From here on it is one long race to survive as the terrifying facts start to reveal themselves. Jason has to use all of his skills, training and contacts to save not only his own career but the lives of untold numbers of targeted influential people around the world – including the President of the United States of America and the crown prince of the ruling Saudi royal family. It doesn’t help that his allies in the department have now been side-lined and Rae is persona non grata back in the United States.

Weaving a tense tight plot with our protagonist’s own family troubles, the author has written a real page turner as we follow Jason Rae’s mission across the world.

Our hero is a mixture of Jack Reacher, James Bond, Jason Bourne (just a thought – do all great spies and action heroes have names beginning with J) and a plethora of other similar characters from popular literature and movies with his no nonsense attitude and ability to think on his feet.

Personally, I found this difficult to put down once I started reading and the mixture of memorable characters and engaging plot lines made the whole thing a joy to read.

The author’s research on the places that Rae travels to gives the story an authenticity that helps with picturing the foreign locations (I’m in Britain, so even Washington is exotic to me)

The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of just one man – but that man is Jason Rae and if anyone can get to the bottom of the nefarious plot then he is the one.

If you like your books to be full of action blended with global threats, accidental deaths, fraud, kidnapping and the odd siege then this is one you’ll not want to miss.

The Author
